    Hey all! long time observer, occasional poster.

    I'm just wondering how early should I start applying for summer jobs?

    I've been applying for part time jobs since I started college this year but I've gotten no luck.

    Will it be in the coming weeks?
    Any suggestions too?

    I presume the auld reliables like Penneys, Tesco etc will all be employing. Thanks!

    Well Eden, they're the companies who hire the most seasonal workers which is why I listed them. I had an interview a week ago but haven't heard back since so I'm still on the hunt. Anyone?

    Would hotels and other tourist related thing not being hiring more seasonal workers than large shops that are busy 12 months of the year :confused: ?

    They'd be tempory full time positions though not temporary part time.
