Toyota Avensis Scrappage

    Hi

    I recently purchased a new car and am left with a 2000 Toyota Avensis which I want to get rid of. The battery is giving me trouble and there is a few small problems with wipers, bulbs blown etc.

    At this stage I am thinking it will not be worth fixing and re-selling so am considering selling for scrap.

    What sort of price should I be looking for? I am totally unaware of what to ask for so would appreciate any advice before I start ringing around.

    Ask for €400, then let it go for €300, if it's going to be scrapped be sure to get an end of life cert for it if you sell it for scrap or to a breakers.

    Hey, I am looking to scrap my 1999 Volvo C70 but have been quoted €80 for it to be taken away. Did you find anyone who might offer yu more?
