thisactually makes 7950 look bad.... very damn impresive lads!

570 and 580 will have to drop in price even waaaaay more.

Waaaaaaaaaaaay more, the 7850 is so much better than the 570, and cheaper too!

btw overclockers.co.uk do not shine as cheapest place to get these cards. somewhere on likes of amazon or pixmania or even scan.co.uk these new cards might be even cheaper.

Dabs are stocking them now, €350 for 7870 and €300 for 7850. Seems a bit much for the 7850, but it is a GIGABYTE OC edition.

331eu m8 on dabs for 7870, and once again dabs is not the cheapest place. damn this card makes 7950 look bad .

i should sell my 570 for 200eu and buy 2x7870. those 2 things should murder anything in their way.... lets wait for reviews! :D

hmmm more review poped up and those dont look so much better then that first review we got...

actually 7870 trade blows with 570, not 580.

No. As in crazy cheap ;)
Was considering getting a second 6950 in a few weeks, perhaps sell current 6950 and get two 7850s.

just read one more review and i totally agree with them on these new gen cards.

they give same performance as old gen top cards, but still for same money, which makes it a bit "meh". they would have gotten away with same success it they just rebadge 6970 to 7870. at stock levels 7870 is same as gtx 570, but gtx 570 is actually cheaper now then 7870. Yes 7870 has a good potential of overclock to be near 580, but 580 droped in price a lot too, you could pick up 580 for similar money and overclock that bad boy even higher.

in some of those benchmarks my gtx 570 does eve better then the ones tested, so it makes 7870 even less impresive. i have to admit that 7870 has a great power consumption for its power.

*i am no fanboy and most of you who know me for awile know - i will just go for the one which gives best bang for my money :p

    I was wondering lol

@shadow - Not sure on that review.
In the benchmarks when the 7870 is close to the performance of the 580,they drop the 570 out of the chart, and in some they oc the card and others they dont.
I'd prefer to see the same settings across every bench.
    IMO its a poor review
