In fact, I have a list of Boards people. Most of them are from the soccer forum and we shared our names but others I have found due to links in their signatures.

Twitter is a creation of the "forbidden group", and it's purpose is to dumb down society by encouraging people to use 'text speak'. This is to keep the public in an unenlightened state in which they can have no hope of ever figuring out the scientific formula being used to render the average human utterly hopeless to put up any kind of a fight against the coming plans of global enslavement.

Nope, I have a soccer forum list and then a Boards Tweeps list. People that I regularly talk to on the soccer forum goes into the soccer list and they and everyone else goes on to the other list!

I use twitter. I think I follow a few boardsies, though more by accident than because they're boardsies.

I have to say, I love twitter. You can surround yourself with like-minded (or not) people and there's a hell of a lot of worthwhile non-celebrity people to follow. I've learned an awful lot from stuff that people have tweeted.

It can also be depressingly frustrating, but you can tune a lot of that out.

I use Twitter and NEVER EVER use txt spk! It wrecks my head and I just re-word to get the message across.

I following a few boardsies but it's mostly news / science / engineering related people I follow.

I use twitter but I don't think I knowingly follow anyone from boards.
Sometimes I just forget to use it for a few weeks and then go back to it.

Nope don't use Twitter, only use Facebook myself and that's really only to keep in touch with my relatives who live in different countries, if it wasn't for them being abroad, I doubt I'd have a Facebook account at all to be honest.

I dont really "get" twitter. I supopose I dont understand it enough. I have been told I should be using it for work to keep people updated. Can anyone explain it to me in simple terms, like how do I keep a link open to it and get updates. I use a laptop, not a tablet or smartphone for updates and stuff. I do blog and have two facebook accounts and love both of those.

I follow my husband who is also on boards but do not follow that many people, my brother, a cousin and a few "celebrities". I do not use text speak on it.

Me neither.. I like the challenge of the limit of the number of letters. I rarely use text speak, even when texting and using 'txt spk' on twitter would be like cheating!

I love Twitter, mainly use it to follow F1 drivers and teams

It can get very addictive though and No I dont use text speak and I dont think i follow any boardsies

Got totally addicted to Twitter when I first started using it, follow mainly celebs and news. Unless I actually know someone who follows me, I won't follow them back, unless I find them interesting of course!!

Love Twitter

Much prefer it to FB. I follow everyone from celebs, to friends, to things that interest me like the defense forces or the HSE or PHECC. My tweets can be a lil bit boring.. To completely random stuff

I use it quite a lot- but I read a lot more than I post. I only follow people that I'm genuinely interested in, and cut off anybody who starts to tweet ten times an hour.
