adding ram ?

    Hi all.
    Old desktop, windowsxp and only 512mb ram. Want to add another 512.
    Seen some tutorials which say be careful which stick of ram you get because they are all slightly different. So how can I tell which one to get.
    Heres a pic of inside, I guess it will eventually go into that grey slot.
    Would appreciate some suggestions.
