    HI,
can anyone tell me the quickest route to Letterkenny from Dublin, starting from the Red Cow?
Should I go up the M1 and across or the N2 or N3?
    Thank you

I'd definitely recommend the M1 rather than the old Dublin road.

I do this regularly - up the M1 to past Drogheda, take the joining road over to Ardee (can't remember which junction number, sorry) and the N2, and straight up from there. Takes about 3 hours (from the city centre though).

When you come off the M1 at Ardee, follow the signs for Derry. At Strabane, cross the bridge into Lifford and then follow signs for Letterkenny.
