    Hi,
Anyone know of a site or shop where I can buy canning jars for home canning? Specifically, I am looking for US style "Ball Jars" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mason_jar) and not so much the Kilner clip stye.

    Thanks.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

You can't get ball jars here, the closest thing are the Le Parfait Wiss type which are a metal sealing top and a ring closure.
OR Kilner have relaunched a range of jars which are more or less the same.
TBH Ikea have a clip type that are very good value and made in Germany.

I got Mason jars a couple of years ago from ascott. Don't know if they still have them. I need to order new lid seals now
