    I bought a Trek 1000 a few years ago in a 58cm and it's too big.
The bike is as new but of no use to me in its current size.

I now need a winter bike (preference for mudguard clearance) so I'm contemplating changing the frame only and selling the Trek hoping to realise €150.

Looking for an aluminum frame with a carbon fork in good condition.

Its a long shot but maybe someone might be also interested in a Bike swap if you have something a little small.

Sorry just wondering are you selling the trek 1000 and is it frame only or complete bike, my brother is looking for a 58cm road bike so am just on the lookout for him:). thanks in advance

The Trek 1000SL is very nearly new, it looks & rides like new. No dings, scrapes or dirt.

The bike has been stored indoors for all its life and has only 200mls on the clock. It is too big for me so it wasnt ridden, if it was the correct size I would keep it.

It has a carbon fork, carbon seatpost & mix of Tiagra and Sora which is the same spec now as the Trek 1.5 which retails for €1000.

I will sell the bike for €400 as I have an offer of €450 as a trade in.

    I have a giant Defy
M/L frame which I think is 56cm but could be wrong
its a 2010 model , yellow black in colour
aluminuim frame, carbon fork, not sure about mudguard clearance
good condition, kept in shed , done about 3/4 triathlons on it
could probably do a straight swap if interested

    I find it too small
