I think what's needed is a preview night of all those preview nights.

Just wasted a few hours watching the preview night at Leopardstown.People actually paid 20e in to listen to the crap they were saying.Russell said he would buy dinner for McCrririck if Hurricane Fly was beaten. It seems to me like a pr night for the bookies and a few bob for the boys.Tom Segal said he was in Adare an JP said Darlan was his nap.No mention of the hugh stroke pulled on his own horse in a handicap.

I might be wrong sting but I think most of them are for charity. To be honest, I think they might be good for the annual Cheltenham bet goer who doesn't study much form or follow the races throughout the year. I went to my first one last year and unfortubately allowed myself to swayed by on 2 bets because i felt misinformed.. resulted in losses that should have been wins...I think the key is have your decisions made before you go to one and allow people to express their angles to either back up your angle or disagree. All in all I think they're a good bit of craic for a few pints

Preview nights are for entertainment value in reality. They shouldn't be regarded as tipping shows.

Sting they are charity nights, so less whinging they are for a good cause. I am surprised you watch them for tips as you always seem to have some.......
