    Hi Guys,

I am thinking about flying abroad with my bike.
I do not have any hard case and I am not sure if I will ever go again and I would appreciate if any of you have a spare bike case and could lend it for the Easter week or alternatively sell it.
    Any suggestions are welcome.

I have a friend selling Pedal Pack Deluxe Bike Suitcase.
    Details here:
    http://shop.bikeprousa.com/Folding-Bike-Case-P-FCS.htm

He's looking for minimum €300 for it, which is a bargain for what it is.
I don't think this has ever seen the inside of a plane, it looks immaculate.

I can post some pics if anyone's interested, or pm me for mates details.

Dibs after RobFowl if that's cool.

I'm heading to do the Tour of Flanders sportif at the end of the month and have just started thinking I may want something more sturdy to carry my bike. I have one of the CRC bike bags which I've used for bus transport and it's been ok, but have had a few experiences of late that make me wonder if my precious will survive the crossing intact in a bag.

I have a hard case, you're welcome to borrow it, if Drogheda's not too far out of the way for you.

    Guys,

I really appreciate your kind responses and offers. Thank you very much.

I will first consider 07Lapierre's offer of buying his case and if that doesn't work, I will post back here, so other cyclists get their opportunity to make a deal and I will consider other kind offers that were proposed here.

The major problem for me is my location - I am between Dublin and Cork, but I will try to find a solution ;).

Yeah, I discussed the deal with 07Lapierre and I will try to arrange a viewing / collection within the next week or two.

Thanks. Drogheda's a bit further, but if Idleater and I don't sort something I'd gladly pick it up if it suits. Thanks again.

No Problem at all. I'm in Lucan and can chuck it in the car. I'm away Tomorrow, and marshalling at the Lucan GP on the Motorbike on Saturday, but the afternoon or other days should be okay.
