    Merv is someone for whom legend and world class truly apply. Was my first sporting hero growing up as a kid in Wales and his performances on the Lions tours to NZ and SA were epic.
    Thoughts are with his family RIP

    Newbridge RFC had the pleasure and honour of the company of Mervyn and Jenni Davies at the 2011 Legend in Rugby Awards at Hotel Keadeen last March.
    He was an absolute Gentleman and very modest when the guests spoke with reverence of his achievemets on the Rugby stage with Wales and the Lions.
    Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilis.
