I've only played the PS3 Ratchet games. Are these games worth going back to? I thought Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time was one of the best games this generation.

I don't mind, the world would be a happier place if more games were delayed and not rushed out unfinished to meet stingy publisher's demands.

I was asking in Game Stop earlier, asked when is it to be released, the guy said June 29th is the release date. Has it been pushed back again or is it just a case of misinformation?

I bought this today in HMV (along with Binary Domain which was only €11.99 new) but it is just going to end up sitting in my backlog for quite some time. I've been reading some very favorable impressions on it though.

The only Ratchet games I've played have been the Future series on the PS3. They were all excellent.

Also, shouldn't this thread be in the Games forum where it might get more attention.

Considering its only been out a week, you might need to wait a week or two more before it starts turning up cheap.

Okay now I'm positive, these games are difficult. Levels with no checkpoints are doing my head in. But I can't stop playing!

The leap the game takes when they introduce strafing is HUGE.

I know right

they are bloody hard, the checkpointing is ridiculous.

Only need the RYNO and the 1,000,000 bolt now for Ratchet 1.

Some of the complaints on the checkpoints though are spot on. How did we ever manage??

Just started Going Commando now and my god does it feel so much better. Strafing - hallelujah!

On a side note what I really love about these HD Collections is seeing the improvements made to each entry. I really noticed it in the Splinter Cell one and I'm seeing it here. Refined graphics, gameplay enhancements, etc. You can see and feel the developers improving the code of each game as you play.
