Am trying to remember the name of an Irish band I seen in The Village around 2005/2006, was a bit like Underworld with Irish elements to their sound, think guy that played with Kila was in it and "Sticks" was part of their name, can't find anything on web about them, did I dream them up!

Was it the Afro Celt Sound System?

No, I'm well aware of them. Was 3 blokes with live percussion, electronics and a bit of guitar and (I think) bodhran, no vocals, maybe it was a short lived project.

Fair enough! I just thought of Kila + electronics (but I forgot about the 'Sticks' bit).

There's no toilets in the Speakeasy? What did they do rip out the ones that were there when it was the Shebeen Chic?

Eh no, they were more like Mickey Mouse techno! I should have said there were no trad samples in their music.

Both ladies and gents where sealed up with tape like a crime scene on the night.
