this is kind of off topic but this site is great for telling you how expensive your car will be to insure. its british but uses the same car groupings here.

0 - they don't list Lexus for some reason. Closest to my GS300 is probably the Infinitu M3x, which rolls in at Group 45/46.

Was just comparing it to the Infiniti M, which is probably the closest car on the market on that site. Found the GS grouping on Parkers subsequently though and it is a bit lower alright - 37.

'00 740i. Powerful but not looney toons, it's a silly group for it tbh.

My insurance isn't ridiculously expensive, but what ticks me off these days is that I can't move, because all of the mainstream insurers either say the car is too old, or they won't insure a new customer on something with that big an engine. The car's worth 3-4 grand tops these days, and I'm 39. It's ridiculous.

I get over it by planting my right foot at every available opportunity. It's fun.

Have to agree with listermint it's a lot of car to move with around 220hp. I can't see it grouped that high, unless it's a Aristo Vertex and you're not telling us;)
