free to air problem (after factory reset)

    i have a philex free to air box.
    i lost channel 5 awile back.i followed codes online and
    i got channel 5,channel s usa etc but i lost some of the other channels in the process.
    i done a factory reset to retune all of the stations but it wont pick up anything now??
    any ideas on what im doing wrong?

    Factory reset will only program the box to the way the box was reprogrammed when it was manufactured. As some channels move transponder quite regulary a factory reset is a bad option, you should look for a new firmware upgrade for your box. Philex do sometimes have some but not often so first port of call would be to check their own website.

    After that you can lookup all the channels you are missing on the following website and you can program in the new transponders and frequency's as required.

    got it working in the end.
    power just needed to be switched off and on and then it retuned fine
