ASO organisers of Tour de France and Vuelta a España, have announced the running of Etape de la Vuelta, based on the very successful format of Etape du Tour Mondovelo of Le Tour de France, the event will allow any cyclists to race 1 stage of the 2012 Vuelta a few days before the professionals do it.
Stage 16 Gijón to Valgrande-Pajares. 180km with 4 climbs on 25th August.
