Peugeot 206 lock barrel attacked by 2 year old!

    Help...my son decided to stick something into the ignition barrel of my Peugeut 206.:eek: There is nothing stuck in the barrel but the key will now not go all the way in.so unable to start car.. any ideas of what I can do.. as a last resort does anyone know of an auto electrician or maybe a locksmith in Galway who can help!!

    Depends what he put in...maybe try a hover to see if it sucks it out....or
    maybe an airline to see if it blows it out...?

    You could remove the barrel and see if it taps out....

    If all that fails maybe give Collerans a call...:)

    the little chap put an old car key form a 80's Toyota into the ignition barrel.
    I think he may have damaged one of the pins in the barrel. I have looked down the barrel and there is nothing stuck down it.

    Anyone got any ideas on how you take the barrel off on a 206??

    Tried to get ignition barrel out as per the instrucutions but was unable to do so... Row .. you were right I need the key in the ignition to get the barrell out so I am stuck .... I suspect this is going to cost me a small fortune to get fixed!!... the delights of having kids!!!:)

    Collerans can out and fixed it for €60. The key has a small hole in the end which has a corresponding pin inside the lock barrel which was bent over inside the barrel.:)
