I just finished my own "dinner" now. Due to lack of funds I had waffles and bachelors spaghetti hoops (nothing on heinz, pretty mank). Usually I would have something a bit more...substantial and healthy but have run out of money and this was all the freezer and cupboards had to offer me.

So what did you have? Make me jealous!

Nothing tastes as good as being skinny.

Hah! Only messing. My waffles and sloppy spaghetti hoops seems like a feast now.

My good relative Uncle Ben who lives in the deep south sent over some of his quality home made sauces in glass jars.

Sweet and Sour was what he sent over for us to have tonight.

Thing is we already know it's from him so why does he plaster his face all over the packaging?

I've been living on the 35c veggies from Aldi and Dunnes, so I had for dinner a ridiculously high density soup that's going to keep me full for ages! Homemade soup is a friend to the poor. :D

It lasts so long as well! Maybe I should have blended up my waffles and hoops and made a luscious broth :P

How could you bring them up and then murder them? I would become too emotionally invested for such an act!

noodles and a spicy chicken wrap :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 723 ✭✭✭bfocusd

I had dinner in a relative's yesterday, the kids don't like the spicy stuff so we each had a combination of, chips, hot dogs, fried egg, sausages, fish fingers, alphabet spaghetti. Then fruit portions..

Kids couldn't be less interested in the food and had another proper dinner when the mam came in, we all were still hungry!

so I got home and made a fresh pizza! Sweet corn, pineapple, mixed peppers, diced bacon, pepperoni and a good lashing of mozzarella cheese! Yummy!

Vegetable soup and McCambridge bread. Unreal stuff. Trying not to be a fatty anymore. Dieting is grand really, all the fuss over nothing.

    No problems at all...
Kids named them "sooty and sweep"....

It's the best of both worlds.... new pets, fun of feeding them over the summer with the kids, then a freezer full of bacon as a reward and no pet to look after during the sh1tty winter weather... who'd want a dog ?

    Happy days :p

Quite a selection! Do you like your creamed rice hot or cold? I prefer it cold! Sometimes if food is hot I can't taste it that well, usually have to wait a while for my dinner to cool down before I can eat it!
