    Cheers in advance.

Very unlikely. I have the same dish and I was getting weak signals on a few Vertical tp's for a while but they are gone now. The best one to try is 11747.

If you can be bothered to read this there was a discussion on the subject here.

Having a good read - Looks like that signal is a real hard one to lock onto.

    Cheers

Tell me which tp's and I will check what I am getting. I just got the signal back on 11747 on 4.8 East, 4.5 dB on my F15 receiver. I am using the Black Ultra LNB, it is definitely the best one for weak sigals.

I no longer have my dish turned to 1west but never had any problems when I did. Dont have much time to watch sports these days so happy with my dish turned to the birds I am currently using especially as it keeps me missus happy :D

    Hi all,

Just to add my tuppence worth...I'm in Dublin and have a T88 and get TV2 PL HD channels on 0.8W with no problems in all weathers. Cannot get a sniff of the 11747 transponder on 4.8e though.

    Best of luck...

    ?
tried get the nordic beams myself but as I said I think ur flying a dead duck with that one as they are seriously tight

It seems to depend on the time of day possibly. Was only getting 2 or 3 dB at 6pm but now at 10pm it is 4.7 which is enough to scan in the channels. But you would never get enough signal to provide a reliable service.

Although no Viasat xtra, the TV2 PL HD channels 2 + 3 on 1w are some of the last few channels with English commentary for 3pm kick offs...:)

I went multi lnb fixed with my 1.1. made things easier for running 2 receivers off 1 dish.

Signals are a bit stronger on 11.747 this morning 5.2 dB. Also getting 4.7 on 11862.

I can get this in IOM at signal 76% and quality 52%. I'm using a channelmaster 1 metre dish which may be slightly off because it was aligned with a cheapo meter. Most of the Nordic beam stuff comes in ok although I can't lock on to the signal for the new channels on 12188 H.

    Cheers

    Are you receiving 11747.00 V B2 BSS Nordic DVB-S QPSK 27500 3/4 ????

Were you able to view 11.747 with that signal m8?

Yes the signal is for 11747 v 27500 DVB5 QPSK 3/4 its dropped now to 74% Q and 42 S as we have rain here at present.

I just had a look at the reception graphic on kingofsat for 5e BSS Nordic and if you are not getting it it could be just that 50 miles east thats making the difference. Having said that according to the charts I should also get 12188 (which I mentioned) but its not locking in.

    Cheers.

Channel Master's are superb m8 - That locked on 4.8e or are you on a Motor?

Its motorised - heavy duty dish and motor only thing that stays nailed down here through winter.

I may get a installer with a specturm meter to reset it and if there's any noticeable improvement will let you know.

    Cheers

I can scan them in and they would be watchable if they were FTA. Signal now back down to 4.7 dB so a 1.1 m dish would never be good enough to provide a reliable service.
