Is this a ten point head?

    :( I shot this stag at the start of the season and a friend of mine reckons its ten points because it has what look like undeveloped brow tines, i dont know how thier measured so i dont know:confused: can anyone answer this? thanks:)

    looks like an8 pointer to me
    with a bit of a slight stump at the bottom of the left antler as you look at the deer on the left
    cant make out a matching stump on the right antler

    If you're very creative, you could make 10 points out of it. It is a nice, unusual head. No medal winner though, I'd guess.
    The size of the trophy is less important than the fun of the stalk!

    Over here brow tines don't count and you must be able to hang a ring on a point for it to count .

    Germans would classify that as an eight point uneven or asymeterical head.They measure the dia of the beam between brow tine and first tine for the result .
    Depending wether you use the US or European system for points you have a good or bad head.Either way he is the best to you,because you shot him!
