Just wondering if anybody has this stove in use. Its Stratford Ecoboiler Inset EB12i HE It's output is 12 to boiler and 5 to room I just need to know if it does heat up room well. I saw a Mulberry inset lately and could'nt feel much heat in room from it.

There was a chap on this forum in the stoves questions and answers who had this stove fitted.

He was delighted with it:) This is the stove I would of adviced you to buy:D The EB12HE.

Thanks Stovefan. Firstly we were going to go with the stove on the heart but having second thoughts on that now and would like an inset one. I cant really find any other inset one with more heat to the room than the above.

It does seem to be the one with the highest room output:D.

The Esse 350 GS (Greenswitch) only produces 3.6kw to room and around 11kw to the boiler using wood.

The aarrow EB12HE is a good price too and the other person compared the 2 and prefered the quality of the aarrow EB12HE.

It was torres3011 who has the EB12HE. See his reply and photo of his stove.http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056390351&page=36 On the next page there is a bit more info.

Do I need a vent in the room with this stove?

Yes. A stove with a rated output over 5kw you need 550 sq mm per every kw over 5kw. Then buy a vent to match or exceed this size.

If your house is a newbuild and very airtight you need to increase the air supply to 550 sqmm per every kw.

See here. table. No draught stabiliser.

The esse 350GS can have external air although I prefer the Aarrow.

Thanks Stovefan, yes was'nt sure whether it was just the room output you take into account so its the overall output.
