Sorry to hear of Featherbed Lane(Broken leg) and Abergavenny(Fractured leg) put down today along with the banks legend Garde Champetre and Scotsirish yesterday. I can only imagine how the owners of these horses feel on what was supposed to be there great day in the sun and enjoy the festival win/lose but to lose your animal must be a very painful experience especially at a place like this. RIP:(

    Not forgetting Educated Evans yesterday.

I echo everything mr.jingle has said. It must be a very difficult time for connections. Can't imagine losing a horse I owned at the festival especially but also anywhere else for that matter. Also, a broken neck is better than a leg. Its very distressing to see an animal in that position.

Didn't hear of Educated Evans seen his fall alright Nulty. Thought Cotton Mill had done his leg in also when jumping the last behind Simonsig looked a very nasty fall. Featherbed Lane looked in some distress coming back through the field after his mistake.

Is there any word on Richard Johnson?

Mike Cattermole has been past it as a commentator for the last decade but has been exceptionally useless this week. Allez Garde and Soll both go at the one fence today and is missed by him, as was Scotsirish in the 4m. As long as he is commentating for RUK, and not Richard Hoiles, the company is always treating its viewers with disrespect.

Am I right in thinkig it took them ages today to cop on that the flag man standing before the final fence was'nt on the track waving it but was standing behing the rail waving it :confused:

One of the most stupid things I've seen and in such an important race it was unbelivable.
