oil leak in 2002 audi a4 1.9tdi...

    I have a bit of an oil leak in the above car, car is up around 160-170k mile mark. I would like to get the problem sorted, if only to stop the oil stains it leaves behind everywhere when parked! After a short journey it usually will not drip any, longer journey it will drip for a while after it stops and then will stop dripping, not losing crazy amounts, level will need topped up after 2000 miles or so. I have not noticed it dripping if the car is stationary and left running though.

    I have had it over an inspection pit but source is hard to pinpoint, would seem to possibly be coming from the top back side of the engine, but from the top its very hard to see, is this a common problems these cars suffer from by any chance?, rocker cover gasket maybe??
