Importing tractor from the uk

    Hi guys, saw a case 956xl in the uk going for a nice price. I just have two questions before I would go anywhere with it.

    1. What's the 956XL like?

    2. What do I have to do when I get it back here? Would I get caught at customs? And what costs have I to pay on it in total.

    I've seen some of the other threads and it seems like the only thing is a 200 euro vrt on it. Is that really it??

    have a look on revenue.ie....think its just 200 duty alright....

    yep, thats all, shipping will be your biggest expense.

    watch for rust on the metalwork everywhere on them, we had one at home, and it was bubbling up atr that time.

    is it red chassis or black...if its red its older than the black one and better straight six no gimmicks just check gearbox for smoothness and rof for leaks...great yoke to pull..
