    Hi all, is it better to get car serviced on mileage or every year, car is C4 is 7 years old, the garage said it is up to me, any ideas folks, thanks in advance.

    Poor advice from the garage although its your car, so ultimatly is up to you.

    All service items are mileage OR time dependant.

    At the very least the oil should be changed every year.

    Usually it's whatever comes first. I googled it and it seems it is 12500 miles or 2 years? 2 years seems a long time to me. Depends on the car. My car is every 10k miles, which is usually every 4 months! :)

    I would be leaning on the side of caution I think and getting it serviced annually.

    You mention its 7 years old. Whats the current mileage and when was it serviced last?

    Current milage is 95542 and it indicates next service 115000

    Was last serviced at 85240 on 12-03-11
