Hi, this is doing my brain in.

Using desk top pc with win 7 64 with a netgear n300 wireless adapter. The internet went down an hour or so ago then came back on. Eircom. Pc up stairs is back online and my phone. My adapter sees the network but just won't connect. "Windows is unable to connect to...."

I've tried the usual.. restarting modem, uninstall reinstall adapter. Restarting pc... Stumped.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Is the wireless network still listed? If so, remove it and connect again.

What brand is the actual adaptor? Try updating the drivers. Also like all these adaptors that ship with some pita network manager rubbish, choose the option to "Allow Windows manage my Wireless network" which may help

    Did you upload that pic?

What do you use to get that ripped out effect? Will GIMP do that?

You may also be able to get a Torn Paper GIMP filter, which will do the hard work for you. Google is your friend :) . Plenty of GIMP tutorials out there on youtube and the likes :)
