I am registering with FAS and intend to do a course.

If these courses are a distance away do I get any money of FAS from travelling and do I get any extra JSA.

    Cheers..

Is it a part time or full time course you intend on doing? If it is a full time course, you don't receive JSA during it, you get paid by FAS instead.
Course participant training allowance info is here:
    http://fas.ie/en/Allowances+and+Grants/Training+Allowances/default.htm

The info on FAS Training Allowances is here:
    http://fas.ie/en/Allowances+and+Grants/Travel+Allowances.htm

It will be full time. I am getting 50 a week of JSA now.

From the above link re: Course participant training allowances:
If a persons Social Welfare allowance is lower than the standard allowance, FÁS will pay the standard allowance for the full duration of the course.
Have a look at the link for the standard allowance depending on your age/payment/length of time you have been in receipt of same.
