Best bet of day 1 by far - Zarakander e/w in the Champion Hurdle - 7/1 in PP/Lads.

He is an improving young horse with good course form - won easier than form suggest last day - beat a few very good horses in the triumph last year. The fav obviously deserves to be strong fav but think people reading too much into his last run in the mud and he didn't beat a whole lot in the champion last year. Don't fancy too much else - Binocular back to form a bit but was poor earlier thsi season and last season whilst looked good last time he onlt beat Celestial Halo. Rock on Ruby - don't think he is good enough and don't fancy much else in the field. Nearly by process of elimination Zarakander - Good Luck.

Nothing really shouts out to me, to be honest the McCain stable was comin up with some good priced winners, which is why I made that selection.

If I had to suggest one other today in would be on the (obvious) "Package"

Hope you get a few winners:D

€20 the win and €20 the place.

Gives me a good set of bullets to fire at the bookies. But I'm gonna stick to 1 max bet a day and placepots, keeping the head and the folding for St Patricks day drinkees..:D

I got the placepot up first day last year, €10 on it, paid €660:D

Placepot: Al Ferof, Magnamity, Binocular, Maljimar, Kentford Grey Lady..

Same as, I had the 3rd and 4th in the race, disgusted not to be paid on the 4th, massive oversight on my part not to be aware of it

Anyone know whether ladbrokes are paying out 4th for Montbazen in the 1:30? Cheers

Fairly sure they weren't. Not 100% but don't think so.

    2:05 Make Your Mark

Currently 6's (Ladbrokes:eek:) but looking for 7's or better. Betting currently suspended at Bet Fair for some reason.
