Do we need a Godwin-type law for the bankers, developers etc?

We see it frequently on boards. People arguing that because not a single banker, politician or developer has been jailed it somehow excuses or lessens the wrongdoings of others. References to Anglo in a thread with absolutely nothing to do with the bank bailouts might be good for a few thanks but they are getting tiresome at this stage.

What should this new 'law' be named? I'm not a pretentious man, therefore I do not propose to name it after myself. I propose 'Seanie's Law'.

    Bakers

    Bread is great! /obvious typo

These are usually named after the inventor. Defiler's Law, definitely.

    Fred Goodwin's law?

    Either way, it's a tiresome one-size-fits-all trope.

"My car was clamped but why hasn't Seanie Fitz seen the inside of a cell? SUSPEND HABEAS CORPUS NOW."

You're right. I should be concerning myself with more pressing matters. I'm going into that Joseph Kony thread to post about how much of a d1ck he is.

If a new law is brought in, I thought the people who commited said crime cannot be tried under the new law as it was committed before the law came into practice.

Now - I'm not a lawyer so don't know the truths of the above statement.
    Can anyone clarifiy this ?

I've already said this and I'll say it again.
Lynch Mob or vigilatism is the only way the Irish will get justice on the bankers / developers. Shall we meet outside Seanie's house at say : 3.00am ?

I have a white van, bag of lime, already have a few holes dug up the mountains.
I'll even throw his wife in and she deserves it just as he does, ( for hiding his our money in her name )
