Cassette for 9sp campag xenon

I've an older 9sp campag xenon groupset on my bike, and its time to change the chain and cassette. The big sprocket is 23t which kills me on steep inclines, so I'm considering a 13-26t or even 13-28t. Any idea which cassettes would be compatible and whether the xenon rear deraileur could take the bigger cassettes. I'm guessing that this will be compatible, but its just a guess. The photo for a similar cassette from CRC looks a bit different so I'm unsure what to go for.

    Any advice appreciated.

This article provides chain wrap details for Campag rear derailleurs so from that you should be able to determine whether your rear mech can handle not only the 28t but also the 13-28t range.

Less essential, but perhaps interesting reading, is this article which explains what UD/UltraDrive cogs are and how they differ from ExaDrive. Basically, either ExaDrive or UltraDrive should be fine with your groupset but UD might shift marginally better.

For what it's worth, I've been using the Veloce 13-28t with a 1999 Chorus 9sp groupset for a few years now and I've had no problem with it at all - it seems quite hard wearing, much like a lot of Campag stuff. Check Ribble Cycles for price too though as that cassette varies a lot in price - Ribble's delivery charges are a bit steep relative to some other retailers so Bike24 might still work out cheaper even including their delivery, but worth checking anyway.

Thanks for that Doozerie, measured the deraileur cage and it seems fine for the 13-28t which I've gone for.
