Hi all,

Got 3 big, big pebbles from the beach that look like eggs, not a little like eggs, but perfectly like eggs.

I really want to preserve them like the looked on the beach as they had a really beautiful grain which showed up perfectly when they were wet.

They look quite dull now they have dried out. I have tried covering one of them with 3 coats of clear laquer. The stuff they finish cars with. But it just looks the only shinier.

Anyone any have any experience in preserving the wet look on stones?
