Licence renewal question

    Time to renew my licence.

    My question is do i absolutely have to send it to the council for the county i'm living in?

    The reason i ask is that i live in north leitrim and donegal co.co. is only 20mins drive away so i (or mrs d) could take forms and cash and get it delivered in person, whereas if i have to deal with carrick-on-shannon it'll involve gettin a postal/money order and have to depend on the postal service.
    I'm kinda stuck for time as the original runs out next week and i only got the renewal form late last week as it went to my old home address in limerick and they spent their sweet time letting me know about it and sending it on to me!
