I was browseing through the web and found this picture of the prototype camo for the df before the dpm was picked would like to see how this would work in our enviroment and terrain

Agree'd.

Its way too bright and tan coloured for Ireland.

the pattern and colour might have improved but they certanly had a better cut for the shirt, reinforced elbows, no buttons, cuff neck, velcro wrists.

current uniform is one step forward two steps back from this.

velcro does'nt hold up well when your crawling through a muddy bog while on tactics, button's defo better
