    Anyone know a company in Munster that applies a vinyl roofs?

    Looking to put one back on my MK II Escort.

    What was the deal with Vinyl roofs back in the day? Were they a fashion item or did they have some functional benefit?

    It was to make them look like convertibles,some of the American Town cars even had ribs in them.
    They're a bit of a rust trap really,especially around the chrome edging.
