If a tree falls in the forest, and their are no women around to see it happen....

Does the tree make a mess:confused:

Nope, it wouldn't end up in the cheese.

Cheese contains decent levels of typtophan, which causes deeper levels of sleeper and increases dream recollection.

You don't have dreams that are any weirder than usual you just remember more aspects of them, and as dreams tend to be highly fractured at best you are left with the implication that you have had weirder ones.

There is a well known connection with cheese and the intensity of dreams, there was an actual study on it. But its not the magic mushrooms as they don't grow everywhere, it is the amino acid in milk - called tryptophan - that has the effect on the cheese-eaters.

Thanks for the information. I'll be having a cheesy sammich before bed tonight, I'm curious as to what my mind thinks about, when it thinks I am not around.

Psilocybin (the active compound in magic mushrooms) is metabolised into psilocin which is then excreted, most of it through urine. It wouldn't end up in your cheese.

Turkey is another great source of trypophan, a combo of a turkey and cheese sandwich should be experimented with i reckon.

I made this thread last year, still remember that dream. The amount of cheese I had that day. Dunnes grated cheddar iirc. :)
