yaris headlight frosted/clouded over

hi all,

brothers girlfriend drives a toyota yaris 00 reg with 150k miles on it. anyway NCT is due soon and headlights seem to have frosted got cloudy, tried a few breakers one had 5 yaris in stock and 9 out of the 10 lights were frosted over, it must be a common enough thing.

anyone any ideas on how to clean them up?

are products like this any good?

I used t-cut on passet headlights,worked grand.

You can actually buy the lenses for pre 2003 Yaris headlights seperately from Toyota. They're actually quite cheap.

Failing that, you can T cut them. but youll need to keep doing it as they will cloud up again.

Toothpaste apparently clears up plastic lens headlights. Then a lay of wax over it to make it last awhile.

I was looking for a product to restore my headlights which were so foggy there was very little light getting out of them, tried a couple motor factors and none sold any products, tried T-cut on them with a wet cloth just kept buffing away and cleaning and the came up like new, that was over a year ago now id say and they still crystal clear
