The Sunday Independent reveals the top 300 wealthiest people in the country. In a time of economic uncertainty 44 new entrants who have made fortunes are unveiled.

We reveal the magnificent mansions, the luxury yachts, trophy assets and ask why are all the super rich married to blondes?

Ireland’s Rich List 2012 is only inside this week’s Sunday Independent.

    http://www.independent.ie/service/irelands-biggest-rich-list-is-back-3044678.html

Can I be the first to say "Fuck off and die you shite'n rag".
    And all who buy you.

What would be the approximate dimensions of 'Ireland's Biggest Rich List'?

You have have tickled my curiosity.

So what you want censorship on stories about successful people because it makes you feel insecure about your own career failings?

I've enjoyed reading those lists, always interesting to see what areas of society enterprising people have found opportunities in.

They should have the big debtor list, so that we can see who the biggest fuck-ups are.

    Well Bono be on it?

Or his money over in Amsterdam

Tax is for little people don't you know

And many of them are not talented and achieved nothing, just living off family inheritance

More importantly, what attracts these blondes to multimillionaires

I wonder if they've included all the money that Bertie has been getting while travelling the world making his speeches.

    Money porn.
Basically a **** mag for those out of touch with moral reality. I know **** mag and moral reality don't really go together.......

    Sean Quinn and family
Top of the Sunday Times Rich List in April 2008.
I'd say a fair few lads pulled the stomach out of themselves reading that back then.

Now we are all paying for Quinn and family through increased insurace premiums.
    Not so many fapping now.

I'm betting they are not all married to blondes.

Firstly, because the top 300 will undoubtedly include both men and women, married and single people.

Enya is not married! She's bound to feature somewhere.

Bono and The Edge are not married to blondes!

Perhaps more importantly many of the wives were not blondes when they married, but may have chosen that shade later.

We should not dwell on such irrelevant questions, nor should we begrudge people money which is honestly earned. I have no doubt that most of the 300 people in the list did earn their money honestly.

    Typical Irish bedbuggery.

    They're all just jealous:rolleyes:

    It's not easy

Flynn also talked about "the difficulties" in his own life; he talked of having a salary of £100,000 (Irish Púnt) and trying to run three houses, cars and housekeepers along with regular travel.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Late_Late_Show

Absolutely, if more people were encouraging people of bettering themselves instead of pulling then back to their level.. To much red eye out there....

If it's jealousy and begrudgery from those who object to a vulgar supplement celebrating flashness, then it's simpering, toadying grovelling from those who feel we should look up to our "betters".

    Assumptions are fun.

Would be funny if that rich list insert featured a photo of some fat old guy lighting cigars with a €50 note with a condescending sneer on his face. Funnier still if he was a developer in NAMA

It'd be like this lot all over again:D

he reportedly took a €50 note out of his wallet, said “I eat this **** for breakfast” and promptly did so.

Tactics included throwing a BlackBerry down a mountain, buying ten pints and emptying them immediately, smoking a €50 note, using a €20 note as a cigarette paper, and paying a barman €50 to fasten ski boots.

Developer A states that he “****ed [his] phone down the river”. When asked why, he states that “I was trying to impress my friends… I was trying to impress Developer B because he’s a ledge”. He also remarks that “I hate Trinity. I don’t even hate Trinity. I say I hate Trinity because I’m not intelligent enough to get into it.” He then whispers “I’m just a stupid UCD c*nt.

Loike, tell me something I don't already know!

Seriously, people like that are far more worthy of disdain than people on the Irish Rich List.

I can understand wanting to throw a Blackberry in a river though. Damn things enslave workers outside the office.

If someone does well for themselves, good on them, but a SIndo supplement on their "fabulous" lifestyles is just pure tack.

Wouldn't expect any less from the Sindo. They've been peddlin that high-falutin tack now for years and sadly there is a substantial audience for it.
