    Hi all,

Been reading the forum for the last few weeks. I'm new to cycling - bought my first grown up bike last summer. Initally it was for commuting but I find now that I would like to do more. One of the first things I plan on working on is distance (my commute is short - 4km). I did 25km Monday and I was grand afterwards so doing 35km or so today to see how I get on. Does this sound like the right way of going about things?

Also, I was thinking of buying a computermajig - any suggestions?

    Thanks!

Yep going in the right direction, just keep building on your base miles/kms. Keep it steady.
Also, check out the sub-forum: Cycle Training Logs (^^), there's some great examples to follow in there.
