Contact your local CWO. There are rent ceilings in each different region/area. What may be a ceiling in Foxrock will almost certainly not be the same ceiling for Rush. Since the CWO service has been transferred from HSE to Welfare, I'm not fully au fait with the way they operate now.

maximum rent per month for one child can be found at the following link.
The amount is dependant on the number of children you have, not whether you are a couple or a single parent.

    http://www.welfare.ie/EN/Schemes/SupplementaryWelfareAllowance/Pages/RentSupplement.aspx

Also you need to know that even though they are the MAXIMUM amounts your rent can be.....that within certain areas in each region, the CWO can set a lower rate. But from looking at that link I put in here, i reckon your maximum rent limit would be €775 since you are under fingal county council.

Since the house you are looking at is over the limits....and by almost €200.....then you wouldnt be eligible for any rent allowance at all for that property. You need to find somewhere under the new rent supplement rates that came in in january.
