Hi guys,i am bloody raging here as ive just picked up my daughter from work.

She is finished school, she handed in a cv last Friday to a local restaurant,(where there is an opening due to someone going on maternity leave)the owner asked her to start work Tuesday on a trial for a week.so far she has worked 34 hours, when i asked her tonight when are you being paid? she replied she didnt know but thought it was classed as work experience:confused:

If someone here tells me that she isnt entitled to be paid then i will accept that.....reluctantly:mad: but surely someone is entitled to be paid for their work whether it is a successful trial or not:confused:

    any thoughts?

Should have clarified this with owner before accepting trial...

If she hasn't discussed hourly wage then I doubt she's getting anything. Not nice really.
