My Jack Russel was bitten today while being walked, the cut is on his neck, It looks like a bad gash but has not bled much, Should I bring him to the vet? He seems happy enough but I'm worried about infections and the like :(

i am sure he had his vaccines, then it is a tepid salt water sponge to the bite area, cannot beat salt for this kind of thing

I'd keep a very close eye on it for infections, more than likely he'll need antibiotics.
