Have booked flights for Faro for mid-June and have decided on the Lagos area.

Now just looking to book an apartment in the area and looking for advice on what area/apartments that people have booked??? (There seems to be wide choice).

Also any other advice on the area would be useful! Family holiday.

    Thanks,
    Keith.

We stayed in the Vilabranca apartments in Lagos a few years ago. Nice clean large apartments with plenty of free parking if you are renting a car. It's about a 10 minute walk from the main town area, nice and quite in the evenings.

We stayed in the Marina Club apartments twice. Very nice and modern and beside the marina which is a lovely setting.

Thanks for the replies - yeah read good reviews of the Marina Club apartments.
Torn between those and the Boavista Golf Resort. Would say that the Marina apartments are better located and the Boavista resort are nicer apartments.

    Anybody stay in Boavista?

    Keith.

    +1 for the marina park.

Have stayed there a few times. 10 minute walk to the town or 5 minutes to the beach or 2 from the Marina.

    Rent your car from AtlasChoice.

    http://www.atlaschoice.com/eu/CarRental.aspx

Book it from them early to get it cheaper.

Its a great town, lovely restaurants bars and clubs.

Is there plenty of parking available at the Marina club?
Looks like http://www.ownersdirect.co.uk is the cheapest for booking

I was over there with an owner. Each apartment has space in an underground car park to which the owner has a fob for. If you can get the fob for the garage door youll be fine. Failing that there are a few out door spaces which any time I have been there (low season) have been free.
