    Its first edition sold 109,450 here in Ireland (Rep). NoW last edition was about 113,000

    Some heavy billboard and bus advertising going on at the moment with pictures of Paul Williams, Keano etc. so in time they may creep back close to the original number.

    My gut instinct suggests that these figures are 'first date flattery' and curtain twitching. This month will be the acid test.

    The Sun's readership, when last surveyed, was 275,000 people per day. Its circulation is 73,000 per day (Mon-Sat)

    They don't have a magazine so I assume that they will continue to sell at €1.00. If they do they will put serious pressure on The Mirror and Sunday World. It is good value at that price and purchasers of other papers will be tempted to move.
