Low demand, so not marketed like it used to be. You can still use them on meteor, vodafone and H3GI networks

It's good for some boyfriend & girlfriend fun, besides that you'd rarely use it.

It was a novelty using it 5 years ago. Don't think the iphone has helped things as it won't allow video calls. It should take off again with free video calls through skype on your phone for distant friends & relations.

I use Video calling over GTalk on my SGS2 to the woman on her SGT10.1.

It's not that bad. Video can lag behind the audio if the connection isn't up to scratch.

Video calling has taken off in a desktop/laptop to desktop/laptop sense, thanks to Skype, Google Talk and the likes.

Video calling had not yet taken off in a mobile to mobile sense. Price been one of the key reasons.
