Not sure if this came up before, had a quick search, didnt come up with much.

So long story short. I have a claud butler comfort frame. The frame is bare, bar the siezed crank.

I'd like to build a functional bike (commuter). Ideally i would like to salvage parts from old bikes that have been discarted. But also will prob buy brand new bits and pieces (cables, cable sleeves, tyres etc)

There is one place that I have been to. Cork Community Bikes, but they are only open on specific days, mostly during work hours and only for few hours. So slightly prohibitive in that way.

Would dumpsites be a good place to pick for bicycle parts? Anyone know of any places in Cork area? Is it even possible?
