iphone 4 not saving contacts.

Got an iphone 4 officially unlocked last week. All was going fine until it stopped saving contacts and also it's not keeping a record of recent called missed/dialled or recieved. Any ideas in what could be wrong?

Yeah, I restored it and it worked for a day or so and then stopped saving again. It seems that turning the phone off makes it work too but ony for a short while

Nope, as it went from a normal sim to a micro sim no info was brought from phone to phone. Very few apps photos or the like and only about 20 contacts saved so far.
