I'll be in Poland for the Euros and was wondering what Irish network sim is the cheapest to use for texting or ringing home if anyone knows?

Why dont you bring a unlocked phone and buy a local ready to go sim and send that number on to people? It will be far cheaper
    Yeah had thought of that.

With Irish sims though I think they usually charge a connection fee or something then the same as the home rate so thought that might work out cheaper as I wouldn't be using it for local calls over there.

3 may do a special deal as they sponsor the Irish team.... they did something when the game was in Estonia!

According to rumours, the pending UPC MVNO will offer free roaming in Poland for the duration of the competition.
