Mature Application to B.Ed in St. Pat's

First off, apologies if there are threads for this already. Had a quick search, and couldn’t find anything specific. Two pronged question here..

I’m currently in a full-time job, but am hoping to do the B.Ed for primary teaching in St Pat’s, and plan on applying soon for the April deadline.

For anyone who’s done the interview before, could you recommend a way to refresh my Irish for the oral Irish section? Are there any short-term courses out there? My level of Irish was quite strong for the Leaving, though that was nearly ten years ago. Any advice would be appreciated.

For anyone who’s done/doing the course, too, could you give an indication of the course hours involved? Have any of you time for part-time work, or is it an all-consuming course? Just want to know what I’m getting myself in for, money-wise, and how much of a loss to earnings I’d be facing in tackling the course, as I have overheads like rent/petrol/utilities, etc at the moment.

    Thanks in advance.
    EDB
