    hello out there !!!
I am looking for help please! My wife suffers terribly from sinis area problems!! she had no sleep last night and it usually persists for a few nights... Last night she was kept awake because of both nasal passages blocked. She does use sprays and salt washes but they don't have much effect. She does have a steroidal drops which does have an affect but she wants to wein off it because she's been using it for a number of years!! I think she won't be able to use the steroidal drops if she gets pregnant so she is concerned about that. Also she sometimes gets what one Doctor calls "Cluster Headaches" !! these are very severe !! her pain threshold is much higher than mine but these headaches just above and behind the sinis (between her eyes) are agony for her !! She has had an ear and nose specialist look there and he found "nothing wrong". She did have an accident when she was small and if I remember correctly her nose may have been broken...She tells me that here sinis area swells when we have the heating on or when she is in an enclosed area with air conditioning. I really want to help, but I can often only watch and see her suffer agony !!! if there is anyone out there who has some suggestions I would like to hear them..

Unfortunately we're not here to give medical advice. I think a trip to the GP might be in order.

Sorry OP, the above is correct. It's againes the forum charter to offer medical advice. I've been through something similar myself, the only thing you can do is go to see a GP.

" I think a trip to the GP might be in order" What a very patronising and insulting remark!! Are you from the dark ages of 1950s Ireland where people just did what they were told by Doctors/Priests etc? We've been to Doctors and they referred us to specialists but they haven't found anything wrong. We've tried the medication which is on offer. I was hoping a member of the public who might have got some insight from personal experience might know something. I can see the moderators of this forum are part of the "system" designed to keep the status quo and prevent the general public from creeping above our station...

Complete over reaction. It's against the rules to give any advice. Plain and simple, thread locked
