vodafone usb modem

    have a vodafone usb modem here that i cant get working! iv been in the vodafone shop twice and they say it's the laptop (they tried the usb in another laptop and it worked so they're right)

    for some reason the vodafone software isn't recognizing the device

    any ideas lads?

    I have the same and its working ok - have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software that came with it, or tried it in another USB port maybe?

    doesn't work mate. my iphone charges in the usbs so they're ok! just uninstalled it and reinstalled there also

    there was a fresh windows vista instillation on it a few days ago so could it be driver problems? (not wireless drivers because normal wireless works on it)

    so is the software just "searching for device", then goes to "no device"?

    I know there was a few issues with modems and software - post a question over in http://forum.vodafone.ie/index.php? They were helpful for me before.

    Sounds like your lacking the drivers just, can you tell me the model of the modem and I'll have a look?
